My semi-abstract approach to landscape is still in development and is completely different from the realism I use with portraiture. I’m still discovering ways of expressing how I engage with the Chilterns countryside around me. My aim is to capture the evocative essence of what I experience and I am exploring techniques that can go beyond the limits of a photograph, a decorative piece of wall art or something that could be easily replicatable via AI.
